Today I am going to introduce you to the Mayor of Tracy, CA:
Mayor Brent H. Ives

Mayor Brent H. Ives has been a City Council Member since 1991. He served on the Parks and Recreation Commission for four years prior to serving one year on the Planning Commission.
Brent is a member of the Tracy Area Public Facilities Finance Agency (TAPFFA) Board, the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission, the Altamont Commuter Express Joint Powers Board, the Tracy Downtown Revitalization Taskforce and several others. He is also a Board Member of the Tracy Hospital Foundation.
Brent operates BHI Management Consulting in Tracy. He has worked for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for 24 years.
Brent grew up in Tracy, attending New Jerusalem School in the Vernalis area and graduating from Tracy High School in 1971. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.

He was The Livermore Lions Club 2008 Citizen of the Year. He has compiled an astonishing record of leadership service to the Livermore community over the past 36 years. In 1975 Lion Mayor Marshall served as president of the Livermore Lions Club and in the following year he served as president of the Livermore Chamber of Commerce. Since then he has served in leadership roles on nearly every board, commission, agency, and council in the Livermore area, including serving 3 terms as mayor he was re-elected month.
