Love Movies? You Need To Check This Out……

Add a comment  |

Hello,

Here is another one of those sites that you may find extremely appealing.  Do you love watching movies?  Do you love even more the idea of owning them to watch whenever you want?  Ready to find out what it is?  Here we go:

FILM FRESH offers (courtesy of DivX) a complimentary movie download everyday.  They have a choice of 3 different movies that you can pick from.  This is how it works:

To get your film:
1.  Click the movie of your choice to place it in your Film Fresh shopping cart.
2.  Enter the coupon code (
for example:  XYZ99823) in the appropriate box to complete your checkout.
3.  Follow the instructions to download and enjoy your film on your computer or any DivX device.
4.  Note: Only one movie is allowed per email address and the offer is valid for US customers only while supplies last.

You might be asking:  What’s the catch, right?  OK, the catch is that if you want to watch one movie in particular, let’s say  “2012″, then you have to pay for it.  How does this differ from buying a move at a store?  The movies you buy at a store cannot be copied into your computer unless you have the software to do it and you know how to work with computers.

The films on this site can be watched in many different settings find out how HERE.

Why don’t you check it out!  Click HERE and see if this is for you and your family?

Well, that’s it for now!

Remember to come back tomorrow for more!

And once again:  if you are planning to buy a house or sell your house call me!!  I am only a phone call away!

San Joaquin Honors Concert Continued…

TO VIEW THE VIDEOS CLICK HERE

Hello,

Saturday Night we attended a great performance by middle school young adults around the county.  The participating schools were:

Mossdale Elementary, Waterloo School, Sierra Middle, Weston Elementary, Earle Williams, Glenwood, Lathrop Elementary, Jefferson, Don Riggio, Monte Vista Middle, Mable Barron School, Elkhorn, M. L. King Jr., Lakeside Christian, Ripon Christian, New Jerusalem, Claudia Landeen, Marshall School, Kohl Elementary, El Portal Middle, Brookside, Tully C. Knoles, Joseph Widmer, Waverly, Anthony Traina, Rio Calaveras, Brock Elliot, Wicklund School & George Komure.

The choir, which our son was part of, was conducted by Ms Elizabeth VanEerde who is at the moment the Director of the Lathrop High School Concert Choir, the Lathrop Area Music Program (LAMP) Junior High Choir and teaches Beginning and Advanced Piano Classes.  She has received a Bachelor of Music Education and Performance Certificate in Flute from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and a Master in Music Education with Kodaly Emphasis.  Elizabeth is an excellent individual, teacher and conductor.

The Choir was accompanied by Jorvic Ramos.  He was born March 9th of 1993 and started piano lessons at the age of 5.  When he moved to Lathrop with his family in 2000 he started studying piano with Mrs. Hope Linder.  He is currently a junior at Lathrop High School.  We were very impressed with the way he performed as well.

The Band was Kristin Florek a 1996 graduate in music education and saxophone performance from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music.  She is the Assistant Director of Bands at Cesar Chavez High School.  She also received the 2007 San Joaquin A+ teacher of the year award as well as other awards.  She has taught band and string at numerous elementary and middle school sites in the Stockton Unified and Lincoln Unified School Districts.  Her performance Saturday night was excellent as well.

We had a wonderful time!  We applaud all the participants that were part of the performance as well as those involved in its organization.  With that being said we shouldn’t allow for the arts and music to be taken away from the state of CA.  Where would we be without it?

Here are some of the pictures my partner took for you to view:

I hope you enjoyed them.

That’s it for now!

Hello,

Tonight we attended the San Joaquin County Middle School Honors Concert.  Our son was part of the choir.  What an EXCELLENT performance.  Young adults from different middle schools in the county were brought together to form a choir and band.   We were very impressed.  BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO.  Our family applauds the choir conductor: Ms. Elizabeth VanEerde, and the band conductor: Ms. Kristin Florek. We thank you for a great evening at Delta College.  Please come back tomorrow as I continue this story and you get to experience a little bit of what happened tonight.

That’s it for now!

Can It Be Coincidence? Top 10 Things You Should Not ……

Add a comment  |

Hello,

In the last 3 or 4 days I have been creating a Facebook account that will have everything related to Real Estate.  I had decided to do this a while ago but I did not have the time to actually sit down and do it.  The reason being:  I want to keep that part of my life that is dear to me separate from business.  We often here experts talk or write about social media and how Realtors must incorporate their life into their work.  Prospects want to know we are human and have the need to somewhat, somewhere find some type of connection that will allow them to trust you and in turn allow you to represent you in selling their house or buy a house.   Well, a couple of days ago I received an article that kind of goes hand in hand with my decision.  The article titled Top 10 Things You Should Not Share on Social Networks was published by howstuffworks.com.  The article basically talks about how in social media like in real life, there’s such a thing as sharing too much information.

In all honesty sharing information with the world hmmmm, it can be a dangerous thing to do.  If you follow my blog you may remember that our identity was stolen right here using the Internet.  I also have a link right here where one can go and report identity theft.  Although I am not the type Read the rest of this entry »
